Reflection for Quarter 3

  I learned things about our culture, the common things that our community have.   I experience making things to sell  the community's  number one products or encouraging tourist is really hard for the people most specially in time of pandemic. This lesson made me proud of my community and  to value  our local products.

Protecting and Empowering Children During Pandemic

 Families, communities, businesses and governments have learned heavily on internet, digital technology and social media to continue day-to-day activities, and also for home schooling.   In this second quarter, especially in ICT,I learned a lot of knowledge and interactive experiences,like new jargon, mainly in the area of HTML tags. I learned about how to use "Notepad," a free program that allows us to write and read unencrypted files, I was bewildered because there were so many HTML tags to chose from and where they should be placed because im still not familiar on how to use it and  im always trying to know  if what I've done is correct or not. And also im using phone so it bothers me for slow internet, but im still trying my best to hock up in this subject.

Viva Vigan Festival (Draft 1,Q4)

 The Viva Vigan Festival of Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May. It was started in 1993 by the Save Vigan Ancestral Homes Association, Inc. (SVAHAI) to promote awareness of the value of the historic town, which was hoped to strengthen resolve to preserve and protect this heritage site. For the past sixteen years, the festival of arts has been successful in drumming up attention for Vigan’s ancestral houses. With the help of national and local agencies, as well as media, arts and non-governmental supporters, the festival has also succeeded in promoting other aspects of Vigan.Viva Vigan’s week-long festivities have both religious and secular importance. The day of Valor(Araw ng Kagitingan)

 Araw ng Kagitingan is a regular holiday in the Philippines and occurs on or around April 9. Many streets are closed and public transport routes may be redirected to give way for parades. Malls and other leisure areas remain open and most people may go to these places and use this day as a family day. It was a national observance until a Letter of Instruction No. 1087, dated on November 26, 1980, made “Araw ng Kagitingan” a national public holiday to honor the people who helped bring democracy and freedom in the Philippines during the World War II era. Executive Order No. 203, dated on June 30, 1987, further proclaimed April 9 as “Araw Ng Kagitingan” to pay tribute to the heroes of Bataan, Corregidor and Bessang.
