 My name is Janah Nicole G Criste from Manueva Santa Ilocos Sur, 15 years old and studying at Ilocos Sur National High School. My hobbies are; reading wattpad, sketching and painting, i also love training my dogs. I have one sibling and im the eldest daughter. 

A simple person who love to sit and draw. And im a shy person i barely go out and sometimes its hard for me to communicate to others. My dream in life is to be a architect because i love sketching things and also i want my parents to be proud of me, and ill do my best to achieve my dream.

 Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival” It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the first week of February.  Araw ng Kagitingan is a regular holiday in the Philippines and occurs on or around April 9. Many streets are closed and public transport routes may be redirected to give way for parades. Malls and other leisure areas remain open and most people may go to these places and use this day as a family day. It was a national observance until a Letter of Instruction No. 1087, dated on November 26, 1980, made “Araw ng Kagitingan” a national public holiday to honor the people who helped bring democracy and freedom in the Philippines during the World War II era. Executive Order No. 203, dated on June 30, 1987, further proclaimed April 9 as “Araw Ng Kagitingan” to pay tribute to the heroes of Bataan, Corregidor and Bessang.   All of  us are affected by  Covid-19 Pandemic, it is so hard for the people  because the others lost their job and have nothing and some also forced to closed their business, and also to a student like me because our way of learning right now is through online, some of students are struggling about it because they don't have enough gadgets to use and Internet that's why they are having a hard time completing the task that are given.  We can overcome this problem by following the protocols like wearing facemask and face shields, sanitizing your hands, and practicing physical distancing or avoid gatherings. Let's be responsible this time, lets figth covid 19, lets help to bring back our healthy world.
